About Me
ABOUT ME
I recently moved back to Michigan after spending several years living in Burlington, VT. I'm here for a short period of time before starting my Master's in Social Work! I hope to become a school social worker, or at least work with youth in some capacity. Right now, I walk doggos, but prior to moving back home I worked in LGBTQ+ youth advocacy -- I'm passionate about it and always happy to talk more about it!
I try to live life with abandon, but also am endlessly preoccupied with ethical living. Help me find a balance?
Other random facts about me: I'm the youngest of six siblings, I can clover my tongue, I can make a mean matzoh ball, I've been a vegetarian since I was 10 (but don't judge anyone else's food choices), I grew up with a weird number of pet birds, and I used to have a ball pit in my basement.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have many opportunities to travel nowadays, but my heart is full of wanderlust and I'm interested in meeting folks from other places and learning about their experiences.
Interests
I am a sun-powered individual and being outside (especially near bodies of waters) fuels me. That being said, I've also exclusively lived in places with brutal winters, so I've had a lot of time to hone my interests in the arts, board games, and food. I enjoy both both quieter activities like staying in, doodling and listening to podcasts, or more lively ones like going out with friends, dancing, and seeing live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I stood up on the back of a horse. I also one time got lost in the French Alps and ended up butt-scooting down a bike path.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to practice my ever-rusting Spanish with you. I'm also decent at explaining board games, can break down the whole "alphabet soup" of the LGBTQ+ acronym for you, can give you a mediocre haircut, and probably have a dozen podcast recommendations for you. Oh, and I have about a bajillion pictures of cute animals on my phone that I am HAPPY to show you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook vegetarian food for you! Or draw your favorite animal or sing with you. Or any of the things mentioned above. I'm a pretty sociable person and am happy to share stories and spend time with hosts, but am also happy to keep to myself and leave no trace.
