About Me
ABOUT ME
I just graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Studies in December, and now I’m lucky enough to go exploring. After having an unbelievable experience studying abroad in Jaipur (along with time spent all around Northern India, and a month spent in a small town in Himachal Pradesh) in Fall 2011, I’m headed back to see more of India. I’m planning this trip as I go along, and love the challenges and lessons that come with traveling. I’m very open-minded and flexible, and looking for hands-on life experiences after sitting in a classroom for the past 3.5 years.
PHILOSOPHY
I’m convinced that there’s nothing that can’t be solved with humility, openness, flexibility, and creative problem solving.
“be humble, for you are made of earth. be noble, for you are made of stars”
“follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come”
“I’d rather regret the things that I’ve done than the things I haven’t done”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I’ve had many friends host in the US, and have met tons of people using CS- all with rave reviews. So now I want to get out there myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I once met a German traveler in Udaipur who came to visit in Jaipur and invited a group of my friends to the CS host’s home, where we had the most wonderful dinner and conversation on their roof.
