I'm a free spirit who has spent a lot of time spreading my wings, and now I'm looking to grow some roots.

With the exception of a short stint in South Korea, I've spent the past decade traveling or living in someone else's space. Unfortunately, this hasn't allowed me the honor of paying it forward and offering a place to fellow couch surfers. I hope this changes one day soon! In the meantime, although I've only lived in my current city for two months, I'm happy to meet up or offer any limited suggestions I may possess.

I couch surfed for the first time when I moved to Austin, Texas, and it was a wonderful way to learn about the city (and find my circle of friends). A few months later, I couch surfed in Italy and had incredible and unforgettable experiences! Since then, I have stayed with locals during many of my adventures; it's a very unique and enriching experience to connect with someone and share his/her world with them, however briefly. It has provided me with many more enjoyable and meaningful experiences than I would have ever had on my own...

I LOVE to travel, but my other passions are being outdoors, reading, creative pursuits (especially mixed-media collage, writing and photography), and positive psychology (I am very interested in the pursuit of increasing the well-being of myself and others). I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories, sharing laughter, having fun, learning and growing, connecting in a meaningful way. I also really like eating good food. :)

I love to read! I enjoy fiction and nonfiction equally.

Music-wise, I have an eclectic assortment of Spotify playlists, depending on my mood.

Sometimes I enjoy snuggling up on the couch and watching a cheesy, predictable rom-com, but I'm also a fan of sci fi and fantasy.

Haha, it's hard to choose only one amazing thing!
Living and teaching abroad has been an incredible experience; I've had the pleasure of living in a South Korean city, as well as a colonial town up in the mountains of Colombia.
I've driven all around my country, experiencing many cities, national parks, small towns, people...I love road trips!!! I have visited every state and national park, with the exception of Alaska (I'll get there one day!).
Other amazing experiences that pop into my mind: swimming with sea turtles, sky diving, hiking up a volcano and looking onto a volcano spewing ash below, eating a heavenly almond croissant in Paris, galloping a horse down a beach, sunset boat rides with friends, trekking through the jungle in northern Thailand, becoming an aunt...

What can I teach you? Something, I'm sure... I know a little about a lot of stuff related to well-being and connection... Also, some artsy-related stuff...
What would I like to learn? Whatever you have to offer - I love new things! Seriously, though, I would really enjoy learning to cook a favorite meal of yours. I'm not the most capable girl in a kitchen, and would love to absorb some skills...

While I would love to offer cooking meals, I'm honestly not such a great cook, but I'm happy to help with any cooking and/or cleaning!
