ABOUT ME

I'm a 5'3 female with blue/green eyes. My hair colour changes, but I'm a natural blonde. I love to travel and wish to travel more. I'm friendly and easy going. I love to laugh and have a good time. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new things. I am willing to try new things and go on a new adventure. I'm a bit of a risk taker at times, but I'm mostly relaxed and go with the flow.

PHILOSOPHY

We only live once, so why not have some fun and take risks, however we need to play it safe at the same time. There is no time to hold grudges. Only you can make yourself happy. Don't let others hold you back. Laugh at your mistakes when you can, but learn from them. Always play hard, but don't get hurt, and don't play too hard.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to meet new people and experience new things.

I would be more than happy to try and show people around if they are in town, if my schedule allows. I enjoy meeting new people, and wish to make more connections and friends around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed in another country before, however I wish to do so in the future.

I went to my first CS event on April 11, 2013 in Hamilton, and met some really nice people. Everyone was friendly, nice and very welcoming. It was fun.

I planned my own CS event on April 21, 2013. It was a hiking event. It was fun and the trails were nice.

I meet up with the Hamilton CS group whenever I can and whenever there's an event. It's very enjoyable to be around them. We have some pretty fun times together, and are becoming closer.

I hosted CSer's in summer 2013 and it was good.

The couchsurfing community has helped to bring me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to experience new things. It allows me to be a member of the community. Since joining CS in 2013, I have tried new things such as ride a motorcycle, camp, hike and SCUBA! It's allowed me to find new things I enjoy. I'm glad I joined CS and even recommended it to some friends.

Interests

I like to laugh, paint, have fun, play sports, and be outdoors. I like to canoe and kayak, but have only done each a few times. I wish to do them both more. I like to swim. I also love photography.

I want to go skating, swimming, biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and just get outside and have fun with life.

I got my SCUBA certification in 2014, so I would like to dive more :)

I started snowboarding 2014, and it was awesome! I try to get out when weather allows and improve.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love disney movies, romance movies, I'm okay with horror movies (I used to love them but started scaring myself with them). I like Nicholas Sparks books (I'm reading one currently, and I want more, and love the movies based off them), and I like manga. I love my cookbooks :)

I like lots of music genres, but my favourite musicians right now are, Sia, Meghan Trainor, Evanescence, Paramore, and Metric.

I love Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet is my favourite of Shakespeare's work. I still remember lines of one of the scenes from when I had a presentation in grade 9 English class.

I love artists like Vincent van Gogh. My favourite work of art is Starry Night. I had a copy of it in my bedroom but the frame broke so I need a new one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things I've done so far are:

Swim with dolphins in Cuba. It was pretty awesome. I enjoyed Cuba and hope to go back one day.

Perform on stage with Serena Ryder for the song Stompa at the Niagara Falls New Year`s Eve `14 as a colourguard. It was amazing and there were thousands of people there and it was televised as well. Scary but exciting :)

Getting my Open Water Scuba Diver certification in Honduras in January 2014 and diving there. It is beautiful under the water :) I even got to touch a turtle! I like turtles.

Volcano boarding in Nicaragua. It was awesome! It was my birthday and everyone sang me happy birthday at the top of the volcano. I even went first down the volcano!
