ABOUT US
We are Marjolijn and Melissa, a married couple from beautiful Groningen, the Netherlands. Most weekends you can find me (Melissa) DJ-ing somewhere in my hometown. I live and breathe music, just as Marjolijn (you can call her Marge or Marjory ;)), who is a sign language interpreter.

I would describe us as uncomplicated, respectfull, responsable, openminded, down to earth, friendly, sensitive, funloving, easygoing, curious, positive people. We're not really party people, but we love to dance, BBQ, have a good talk, play a game and just have good times. Sometimes we have to warm up to people, but we know that traveling can make you tired and I think we can offer you a place to refuel, because we are very laid back. If you have any questions at all; please do not hesitate to ask! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting a taste of African culture/history while staying in Cape Town for 6 weeks. I (Melissa) was there 2 years after the apartheid ended, after Nelson Mandela was freed. I was very impressed by the city, the country and it's history. And Marjolijn and I traveled in New Zealand and Australia for 4 months. That was a wonderful journey.
