ABOUT ME

I think I am a considerate and honest person. I am a good listener and I love to hear about other people's experiences. I used to be quite a planner and organizer but over the past year I have decided to make no plan and just live in the moment. I was a teacher in Korea for two years and now I am on my way home with no idea of what to do when I get there. And now a "life plan" scares me so I prefer not to think about it!
I love a good adventure, especially when it involves hanging around great people.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to learn about the places I have been and the places that I want to visit. A good story trumps anything!

I believe in being respectful towards those that I host and those that host me so everyone can get as much out of the experience as possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not enough! I have surfed a few times and hosted a few times but I would like to participate more, especially when I get home and can start meeting with the group!

Interests

Being outside and canoeing, skiing, or just walking. I love reading, rowing, good food, good friends and good stories. I like photography but I am an amateur by all means. I like lists as well, they help to keep me organized. I am also big into gardening. In Korea I had a virtual jungle of potted plants and herbs!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding was an experience unlike any other. It was incredible to just run off the side of a cliff and trust that you would take flight!
