Currently about to travel around with some horses. I'm a gypsy.

ABOUT ME

I'm an equestrian, pro hunter/jumper rider to be exact. When I'm not riding horses, I'm sailing. Preferably traditionally rigged sailing vessels of different varieties. I've traveled all of the east coast of the US as well as Nova Scotia and all 5 Great Lakes via ship. I've lived in multiple states over the years and currently set camp in the wacky hipster town of Kingston, NY. I'm from New Orleans so that gives you a hint as to how fucking awesome I can be. I enjoy tattoos and good beer. I live life by the day. I don't know where I'll be in a month but don't worry, I'll update y'all on my whereabouts.

PHILOSOPHY

I personally feel like I live my life to its fullest. I can't stay in one place. I can't get bored... if I get bored, I get sad. I hate being sad. So I go on another adventure. I've been known to up and leave and leave nothing behind but letters. I hate saying goodbye so I just say, "until we meet again". I love life and all its crazy awesome things in it. I want to see it all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've bummed around in the states along the coast in hopes to get to whatever boat I was aiming for. I also travel with horses, so weeks in different states tend to happen. Life is easier when you don't have to pay ridiculous amounts of money on hotels. I travel light. What fits in my car goes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music except modern rap/pop/country. I indulge in 1920s music of all genres, folk, blues and jazz. Movies... I rarely watch them but my favorites would have to be the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series(Swedish version) and Tombstone. Books... I read lots of autobiographies and memoirs. "Let's Pretend this Never Happened" is my bible. Because yes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing more gorgeous than sailing at midnight and seeing the Aurora Borealis while the phosphorescence is making the water light up as the ship disturbs it. The most beautiful things I've seen were by ship.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a sailor and a horse trainer. I'm great at tying knots and shit. I teach people what they want to learn about me. I have lots of knowledge about historical ships, the sea, and their sailors. I also have been around horses all of my life. I'm pretty damn knowledgeable on that subject. As for what I want to learn... EVERYTHING. I love stories, whether they are tall tales or nonfiction. Share your brain.
