Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to find people on my travels, to travel together or host/be hosted. I'm looking to the CouchSurfing community as a guide to explore where I might find my niche in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been very active in the CouchSurfing communities in Washington D.C., and in North Carolina. I have surfed in the US and have very positive experiences. As far as couchsurfing around the world, I haven't taken a full dive into couchsurfing yet but I am excited to do that this month.

Interests

Hiking, biking, documentary films, photography, collages, languages, international law, social entrepreneurship, travel, etymology, learning new languages, the study of ethics, human rights, culture, environmental preservation, extreme sports and the ephemeral nature of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hospitality and generosity of the people I met in Turkey.

The speed in which cities change, such as Washington DC, New York, Lima, Peru. From one year to another entire buildings pop up, businesses shift, tourism flows evolve, sometimes I get nostalgic of the way places were in the past.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Peru, United States
