Overview
About Me
So, when I was little, I wanted to be either a poet, an adventurer or a princess. But as years passed, one question came to my mind: why would I have to pick just one? So now I've decided that when I grow up, I'll be all three of them.
In the meanwhile, I am a student in History in a lovely and hateful city called Paris, trying to grasp beauty and be connected to the world. I am always very eager to learn about anything every day, question myself, and live new experiences: there are way too many things to discover in this world to get bored (which is great, because I hate boredom).
Another tea addict.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling is not travelling without meeting people, sharing, authenticity and discovery!
Interests
That's a big problem of mine, there are so many things to be interested in that I don't know how to satisfy each of my cravings.
I am definitly an art lover and I love literature more than anything, I try to read as much as I can, and also write. I am very fond of painting (the pre-raphaelites, art nouveau, surrealism...), theatre (did a bit of acting) and cinema.
I am also very interested in social sciences: history, philosophy, sociology, political sciences, gender studies, veganism and animal rights... I would love to work for an NGO later or any organization that tries to protect the environment. In the meanwhile I am trying to have a respectful way of life and get out of consumerism society. I also do a bit of activism once in a while.
And of course I love travelling, discovering new cities but also countrysides, beautiful landscapes, mountains, oh, I love montains. Though I am most eager to visit every country on this planet, my one true love will always be Great Britain.
Definitly not against a good video game once in a while.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books... That's quite tough, I am such a bookworm. My favorite literary period is probably the 19th century, both in France and Great Britain, with the romantic and modern movements, aestheticism... a few names: Jane Austen, Emily and Charlotte Brontë, Victor Hugo, Oscar Wilde, Théophile Gautier... I also love poetry (Charles Baudelaire, William Blake, Mallarmé, Rimbaud, Verlaine, Paul Valéry...) and more ancient theatre (Shakespeare, Corneille, Racine). But I read a bit of anything as long as it is good and enriching, I am also very fond of George Orwell, Fitzgerald, Virginia Woolf and oh well, I could go on for hours.
My favorite movie is by far Cloud Atlas, I love Tim Burton, Baz Lurhman (Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, The Great Gatsby), Gone with the wind, Midnight in Paris, British comedies (Pride!), Into the wild. I watch some good British TV shows such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Downton Abbey
In music I am more into jazz, rock, pop rock, classical music and soundtracks. Love the Beatles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eat magic mushrooms in Amsterdam. It definitly deserves the word "magic".
