About Me

After years of living a nomadic life, I'm happy to have a (temporary) home now. I'd happily have (like-minded) guests here and meet travelers while I'm not travelling anymore.

I'm honest, creative, openminded, an idealist, nonconformist, believe in peace and love and the creation of a better world.

I drink lots of tea, preferably in company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one of many things we can do to make the world a friendlier place. I think everyone should be able to be at home anywhere in the world.

I'm absolutely amazed by the incredibly friendly people who have opened their homes to me. It has given me unique travelling experiences and new friends. It has made me feel at home at times when I forgot what home feels like.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many, but here's a few

movies:
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulian
most Tarantino and Richard Linklater movies
Waking Life
Into the Wild

books: I prefer to read informative stuff over fiction, but here's some examples of both:
- Be Here Now (Ram Dass)
- Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Robert Pirsig)
- Veronika decides to die (Paulo Coelho)
- On Food and Cooking (Harold McGee)
- Days of War, Nights of love (CrimeThinc.)
- Ishmael (Daniel Quinn)

Music: as long as it´s made with passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making the decision to become homefree.

Teach, Learn, Share

'm a good cook and can teach you, but mostly love to feed people.
I speak several languages.

I would love to learn acroyoga. I have a violin that I can't play yet.
I'd love to learn more about wild foods and food foraging.

I've worked at a few farms with the WWOOF project.

Anything can be worth sharing, teaching or learning. I'm interested to learn anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whatever it is that I'm enjoying at the moment, I try to share it with the people around me. I especially love to share food and cook for people.
I can offer help with all kinds of things that are easier or more enjoyable together.
Also, I have loads of travelling stories, tips, recommendations and contacts that I'm excited about and happy to share with you.
