I live in Miami on the Gold Coast in QLD. I love music, film & surfing. Music/surfing are my greatest passions and I work casually in the music industry. I have two awesome kids and I try and live a positive and humble life. I love learning new things and meeting new people.

I HATE cooking, but I LOVE food. If you were to stay with me, it would be great if you provided a meal for the night (if your staying in). I'm also very time poor so I might not be around much, but if your independent and happy to do your own thing, then I am happy for you to stay at my house.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I travelled a little in my twenties and now my kids are a bit older I want to start travelling again. Being a single mum, I don't have a whole lot of income or time to plan trips in advance so couch surfing seems like a good option to get away spontaneously. I'm keen to give back as well and because I live on the Gold Coast, near the beach, on a park close to lots of cool places, I would be a good host as well.

兴趣

Music and surfing are my biggest passions. I also love learning new things, setting goals, meeting people, seeing live bands, reading etc. I'm learning to play the drums and keen to start my own band. I think I'm doing all the things I dreamed about doing when I was young but never "let" myself do as an adult.

Recent movies would be Guardians of the Galaxy. Great kids/adult movie. I also love Japanese animae (kids), and arthouse films. Anything provocative that makes me think or laugh I LOVE.

Giving birth to another human is without a doubt the most amazing thing I have ever done.

Second would be surfing. It's the hardest most humbling sport. I don't rip (yet) but I can catch waves so with that I am stoked.

If I have time I would be happy to take you out surfing and show you some cool surf breaks. I also know alot of good venues for seeing live bands, cool bars, places to eat, shop etc.

My hospitality. Local knowledge. I'm so keen to show everyone how great the Gold Coast is and how to avoid Surfers Paradise.

Unfortunately my house is about 25min walk to the closest bus stop so might not be ideal for some people :-( Sometimes i can give you a lift but most of the time i probably can't.
