I am Melanie but everyone calls me Mellie and a social sciences student from Magdeburg. With my 5'11" I would consider myself as tall and no, I don't play basketball which most people ask in the first place. I think the majority is sure that I am an introvert person but this is only because it takes some time for me to warm up but when I do, I'm fully myself and love to talk a lot and be adventurous.

Although I'm new in Magdeburg I would love to show you all the little things which Magdeburg is known for. If you let me I could take you to the student hotspots and invite you to a bottle of beer and a 'Pfeffi' which is the not so tasty but go-to liquor in Magdeburg.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Because of my semester break, my sister and I want to take the opportunity to travel through Great Britain and get to know the beauty and all the different cultures and specialties of the cities we would like to visit. And I think with couchsurfing you get this whole great opportunity to be a part of the citizens and feel totally home whether you only stay for two or three nights but the big bonus for us is getting to know new faces and personalities which you will always remember when you think back to your incredible time at their houses/couches. I love the idea of getting to know a new city but also the people who live there and all their little insider tips which they hopefully would like to share with us.

I love to play the guitar which is a part of my life for almost 11 years and within endless nights of sitting outside with friends and family and talking about life and all the memories we have made. Sometimes we sing together although I can't sing but I will do it anyways because I love it. I also really enjoy baking and cooking and I would love to cook with you or even for you if you let me ;)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't have favourites of music, movies or books because I am very open to learn and love new things but when I have to choose, I'd probably be drawn to horror or comedy movies and mystery books. But I am obsessed with series which is not very beneficial for studying.
