Overview
About Me
I'm a medicinal herb farmer focusing on growing native plants and Chinese herbs with natural farming methods. I’ve got a background in physics/optics and have worked in the coffee and food world as well. I play and compose music in various projects. I've taught yoga and I love getting outside hiking around the mountainous areas of the PNW.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the couchsurfing community is such a wonderfully uniting network. With all of the conflict between different cultures in the world, its essential to have places where we can celebrate and share those differences.
I've couchsurfed in Paris with Andrea, highlights being discussing the importance of recycling and eating chocolate cake, she was awesome!
Paul in London was a gracious host who showed me around with his friends. I made french toast for him and his housemates.
Jane in London was so helpful; when I got lost on the way to her place she talked me through on the phone. She had a very smart feret that could do many cute tricks.
Bettina in Oxford who generously gave me her bed to sleep on and showed me around the beautiful campus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered at a University in Italy for a year and it was a wonderful experience. During this time I visited the island of Malta and saw an ancient underground temple called the Hypogeum, it was stunning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about biodynamic farming, few songs and how to make an amazing cup of coffee.
I love learning unique words in other languages and new dance moves.
I like sharing thoughts about the state of the world and music.
