About Me

CURRENT MISSION

two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and i? i biked the one with less hills

ABOUT ME

I am a freelance journalist based in Jerusalem. I enjoy biking, hiking, general outdoor activities, and a good cold beer afterwards. I love to cook and explore new places. I'm easy going and love hearing about travel stories--I've got a few of my own. I am especially happy to host bike tourers (I biked Canada to Mexico in summer 2009 and am currently on a grand tour of Australia and Asia).

PHILOSOPHY

everything will be ok in the end, and if it's not ok, it's not the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'd love to have you, hope you'll host me too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm lucky to have a wide net of friends in many countries, so I've only been officially "couchsurfing" through the website five or six times, but I am often a guest and am very respectful of privacy, etc. I also use the bike tourers couchsurfing, warm showers, more often. But I swear I am a good person, even if I don't have that many references!

Interests

biking, writing, reading, hiking, anything outside or near the ocean, a good meal with friends, a really fresh salad.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

biking Canada to Mexico - 2,000 miles... would not have been possible without the kindness of strangers and so many people taking us into their homes.
