About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm occasionally friendly, rarely laid-back but often outgoing person with an optimistically cynical outlook on life who enjoys finding beautiful homes for unloved dogs.
I'm a technically a lawyer but I don't want to be, so I'm studying a Masters in Environmental Law so I can save the polar bears from drowning and avert other environmental catastrophes (hopefully.)

Interests

I love art, and wish I was artistic. I often don't understand modern art, but I find it fascinating. I ride my bike most places and I like it when the wind whistles through my earrings, but not so much when cars almost run me over.
I love music and going to concerts and festivals - I play the piano badly and the ukulele worse, but I still love it and think that makes up for lack of talent or skill.
I'm learning French because it's beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love to read and i have too many favourites to list. I love anything by Hunter S Thompson because he is fascinating and insane, and I adore the way Stephen Fry uses language. Some favourites are Eating Animals, The Picture of Dorian Gray, the Kite Runner, Pride and Prejudice...

I love music festivals, and have broken a nose and an ankle attending them, because I'm just that hardcore ( or uncoordinated)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitch hiking with a Romanian priest and nun in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter, they couldn't speak any English but cackled at everything i said.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I am a non-certified belgian beer expert after living in Antwerp for 8 months, and my advice gets better the more I drink.
I can also swear in an impressive number of languages, and go on extended rants about the plight of polar bears and other endangered species if given half a chance.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
