About Me

(Bill Mollison)

I discovered later to travel (like almost everything). I realized what I was doing since them wastourism with some touches of adventure. But travelling is about to go outside in order to discover what we have inside us. Travelling alters you by inside.

I don't have one philosophy or ideology that persisted along time. Mercedes Sosa sang "as everything changes, so I change". I try to not belonging to any "-ism", but I empathise with libertarian ideas, spirituality and with any practice that bring us to recreate community, I mean, everything that the system where we live in tries to destroy in order to impose an individualism that get us away from "God" (try to understand this like life, nature, or being, ...)

Maybe, what I really enjoy is everything I can share. Is because that when I travel, I am not fan of visiting monuments or museums but people, their costumes and nature.

I like to talk and listen, eating and cooking, walking and play some music, risky artists and artisans creating without limits, freedom and the responsibility glued to it, ....

“... Hence the futility of revolutionaries who have no gardens, who depend on the very system they attack, and who produce words and bullets, not food and shelter.” (Bill Mollison)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I want to give up Couchsurfing?

CS has been without a doubt a very important experience in my life. Now I try to meet the people I cross when travelling directly, starting a conversation.
Let's accept that in the last years CS became another platform more oriented to earn money than to generate experiences. The ads offering to find couple/girlfriend or the title "stay with locals for free" shocks me!!! Really is this the goal???
I am migrating to bewelcome.org which is really a community project not only a platform for business.
