Please note that I'm currently in Montreal and don't live anymore in Paris.

I'm a French woman who moved in December in Canada for 2 years. I finished last year my studies in Marketing & Communication so it was the perfect time for me to move abroad !

I started my experience by working in Montreal and I'm thinking of getting back on the road & visit Western Canada. Before starting my trip on the West, I'm planning to stop in few cities on the East side.

I love meeting local people and share about our cultures !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never surfed before and want to experience it during my trip in Canada.

As I'm traveling on my own, I think it'll be a great way of meeting people and enjoy my experience with locals in the city ! I'm looking forward to meet all of you :-) !

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Pop rock music (Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot, Arcade Fires...) but love dancing on salsa music ... and even hip-hop songs ;-) (best dancing nights I spent where in Baltimore when I was studying there). I also love discovering new artists and I've been pretty interested by Quebec rock bands recently.

Movies : Grand Budapest Hotel, Mommy, American Beauty, Birdman...

TV shows : I'm such a big fan of TV shows. The best TV show I've watched is Breaking Bad but I also like Mad Men, Dexter, Orange is the new black and so on.

Books : I like a little bit of everything : autobiographies, fiction, novels about travels. " On the road " (Kerouac) is a must !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling on my own for the first time is going to be a challenge for me this summer !

I've also been in Ontario on my own in a host family when I was 15. I didn't speak any English and was in a very small village and high school ( it wasn't only a high school but also a primary, secondary and high school, yup small I said).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love spending time with my hosts and cooked French specialties for them. I'm not a great cooker but I'll do my best to give them a taste of where I'm from ! I'll be also happy to share my experiences with them and would enjoy to know more about my hosts' experiences too.
