Hello ! I am a French girl starting a sabbatical year around the world.
I am friendly, open minded, fun, easy to live with and always happy to meet new people.

More about myself :
I was working in the fashion industry as an international coordinator for a big fashion house in Paris, but after a few years I decided to quit my job to pursue my dreams.
I am currently working on a big volunteer project for girl's education in South East Asia, and I will go there in Octoberfor 10 month, in 5 different countries to help NGO and local communities to send young girls to school so they can have a better future.
I love travelling, and I always did, while working or during every holiday I could get. I have been working in New York, in Tokyo, and in Hong Kong and I have been travelling for fun a bit everywhere in the world.
I am passionate about Asia and even more about Japan, which I consider my second home with almost half of my dearest friends.
Not only travelling but also volunteering has always be an important part in my life. I have been volunteering for UNICEF in France to raise funds, I went to Vietnam to help restore a school and teach english to local kids, and during the Fukushima disaster in Japan in 2011, I went to the Fukushima prefecture to join a team of national volunteers to help the people that moved from the powerplant zone and take care of the children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, and I am always interested to meet new people, culture and places. I feel that couchsurfing is a good way to fully experience a country or a city by staying at locals house and share mutual interest with them.

Interests

I love art and everything related to culture (exhibition, painting , sculpture, photography, theatre, movies, concert, music ... )
I also love food and eat local to discover new dishes and tastes (the funnier the better ! )
I am very sensitive to volunteer and humanitarian actions. I usually try to take part in community actions of the country I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Eat Pray Love", the book and the movie. I know it sound a bit cliché, but come on, a woman travelling, eating and falling in love ... That's the 3 best thing to do in the world !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to just tell one ... !!

I have crossed the United States in a bus without (almost) any money

I climbed the Mont Fuji in the middle of the night to see the sunrise

I swam with sharks in Australia ...

I have so much to tell ! !
