My name is Melody Joy. I love road trips in my fantastic car Marilyn. Previously I worked too many jobs and kept too many things inside. So now I am trying to travel when I can and find the places in life that bring me joy and peace. I am seeing where this life will take me if I listen to the universe .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but it can get pretty expensive and staying at hotels doesn't help me meet new people. I'm on couchsurfing to try to save money with my travels and meet awesome people along the way.

Interests

In my free time I like to read, draw, cook, or visit nearby parks and lakes. I have great friends and I love their company. We have gamenights , camping trips, and bonfires. Also , the past couple years I have been performing Stand Up Comedy and getting very good responses from it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the longest time I wanted to go down to Texas to visit my aunt, who is a dance instructor, and learn how to salsa dance from her. And after that, I wanted to Mexico and try out my new moves. About 6 months ago I finally had a chance to do just that!
