I'd rather live in a dump in the city than a palace in the middle of nowhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best concert I ever experienced was Youssou N'Dour in a small club in Dakar. After they played the best of Bob Marley on repeat for hours, he appeared at 3AM. Just him and his microphone on a tiny stage. No screens, no costume changes, no lightshows. All he needed to create a contagious ambiance was his obvious passion for his music. Sincerity in its purest form.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Arriving in Bologna in the late evening after a flight from Belgium, thinking I'd have a relaxing transition before starting my weeklong holiday there, but almost immediately getting on a nighttrain full of students to Rome to go and strike against higher tuition costs instead. Arriving there in the early morning, spending little over 12 hours exploring a city unknown and breathing the atmosphere before taking the train back to Bologna that evening. Chaotic and fleeting, but thats when you really feel that you are living the moment.
