Overview
About Me
I am currently backpacking in central America for 6 months. I started in Mexico City in April 2019 and plan to make my way down through Central America, with a very loose plan. I like to live places rather than visiting in a whirlwind. During this trip I want to explore how communities are organized, what makes people stay together or leave. I am also a horseback riding instructors for people with special needs and want to see what the practices are in Central America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am all about the sharing economy, building meaningful relationships with real people. And seeing a place through the eyes of a local. I like living places rather than travelling through them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing things happen on a daily basis, they can be very small and sometimes big. It’s all about the perspective! For example I sat on a professional level dressage horse. I only walked, but just feeling the power and the connection with the horse was amazing and made my day.
I did a horse trek on New Zealand's South Island. The sceneries were stunning, the guests lovely and the horses super friendly.
I watched 3h straight of Northern lights, lying on a rock, with an ideal temperature of negative few degrees.
I left on a 6-month backspacing trip in Central America.
Teach, Learn, Share
I discovered that I love teaching horseback riding to kids and youth with special needs. I have never tried typical students but I don't see why I wouldn't like it! Sharing my knowledge and sparking somebody's interest is extremely rewarding, and I find it very humbling to have somebody trust me to teach them. I probably learnt as much in my lessons as my students did. They taught me about communication, a lot.
I’d love to teach you how to make homemade sourdough bread. Or crepes. Learn about your cultural habits. Share a meal, travel tips, or the experience of going to the market.
