Hola, great to meet you! I'm Melina, currently employed at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California, where I'm from and I'm preparing to move to Berlin, Germany to enroll in a Master of Public Policy Course. I'm a world traveler and have most recently lived in Tokyo, Japan for two years. Combining my work with my passion for travel is what I strive to achieve. My great motivation in life is to help build a more equitable future for our society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2012-13, I couch surfed in France, Italy and Spain and made many great friends along the way. I'm hoping to explore Berlin through couch surfing or meet ups. This is an amazing platform to make friends and get a true feel for the place you're visitng and in my case, the place I want to build my new home in!

Interests

Artfulness, joy, and meaning in all facets of human experience. To keep it simple, I am interested in world travel, reading, writing, drawing, and painting. I am fascinated by art and learning! Conversation is one of my favorite pass times.
