About Me

Down to earth, friendly and outgoing, are pretty much the biggest ways I would describe myself.

Like the majority of people here I love travelling, learning about new cultures and seeing new places. I haven't seen as much as I would like, but slowly but surely I'm getting there.

I've been working as a teacher in a little city (I call it a village) in Osnabrueck Germany and so far it's been quite challenging and engtlighting.

In my spare time, I like to design ( web/illustration/graphic) and also
write novels and plays.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in the past and found it to be a really wonderful experience. I've met one good friend through it ,and I'm looking forward to doing it over and over again and hope one day to also be a host.

Interests

I'm an artist/designer and writer, so anything creative and thought provoking pretty much grabs my attention. I love learning new languages, watching foreign films and buying new food at the supermarket.

Being a city girl, I enjoy doing regular city activities like museums, cafes and shopping(of course)---but I love nature just as much. I bike regularly (not hardcore) and i enjoy eating healthy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been learning more and more towards blues and Jazz as I've gotten older, but I appreciate all kinds of music. I'm all about the feel of the music and I'm not one to discriminate against good music.

I don't watch so many movies, but I'm always down for anything DC related.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Uganda/Africa for the first time and coming to my own conclusion that the Uganda/Africa I see on television is nothing to what it really is.

Note to others: See Africa for yourself !

Visiting Stockholm for the first time, and seeing how amazing and majestic it is.It really is a gem of Europe and I will never understand why cities like Paris and London get all the love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of German chocolate.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Uganda, Åland Islands

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Haiti, United States
