ABOUT ME

We are backpacking throughout Europe this summer and looking for places to crash in the major cities of the following countries: Germany, France, Morocco, Czech, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Portugal and the Netherlands. any couch would definitely help!

There are two of us:
Steve-
I enjoy writing, playing music, and talking with people--about anything. If I had to pick a drink, it would be whisky. I'm currently writing a novel that will, hopefully, be done before my money is...
I received my degree in Economics and will hopefully be doing graduate work in either that field or Sociology.
I like you already. Let's be friends.

Melissa-

I am drummer and an aspiring guitar player. I enjoy learning about different people and different cultures. I have yet to graduate from university but my major is enthnomusicology, in that my love of music, history, culture and people is combined! If you let us stay with you I promise you will not regret it.

PHILOSOPHY

Life, and why one lives it is a tough one. Adventure. Experience. Longing for meaning. Sunrises. Sunsets.

The last thing either of us wants to do is slave away at a job, trading half of our waking hours for a thing called comfort.

Our couch is always open. At least while we're in town...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While neither of us have used the actual "CouchSurfing" website to that end, we've both "surfed" our own fair share of couches using other networking sites and, of course, always had our own couch open to travellers.

While in San Diego, our living room was, more often than not, littered with bodies of touring bands, friends, out of work artists, and people with whom we've networked on our travels.
