About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play.

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing and dynamic person and I see life from a very positive point of view! I'd like to discover new cultures and travelling is a passion for me. I'm curious, full of emotions, vibrant and loving.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be free. I try to be happy. I try to buy only second-hand stuff and buy local. I try to love myself just a little bit more than I love everyone around me. I try to share and be generous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a very small appartment with roommates, so it is hard for me to host surfers, but I go to CS parties and try to meet and help tourists whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled to Belgium, France, Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland and the United States, relying only on Couchsurfing and those were the best trips of my life. I think meeting new people and getting to know locals is the best way to travel.

Interests

I study acting in a professionnal acting school here in Quebec. I'm really into arts: literature, film studies, theatre, improv and music, but I'm also a football (soccer) player and I adoooooooooooore hockey!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Singin' in the Rain, The Reader, Gone with the Wind, Ace Ventura, Cléo de 5 à 7, Les amours d'une blonde, Terrence Mallick's Tree of Life and Thin Red Line, horror movies... (No kidding, I go to the movie theater at least once a week.)

Music: Groenland, X Ambassador, Bon Iver, Noah and the Whale, Stars, Cocoon, Will Driving West, Kate Nash, Jason Mraz, Pink Floyd, Feist, Phil Collins, Alanis Morissette, Amy MacDonald, Jack Jonhson, Janis Joplin.

Books: Hervé Guibert, Annie Ernaux, Colette, Balzac, Zola, Alexandre Dumas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing things I have done in my life might be boring to others, but made me feel completely passionate: auditioning in theatre schools and getting accepted, writing my first play and getting it produced in a professional theatre here in Montreal. It's a pretty rough, but fulfilling experience. It made me feel as though I could achieve anything.
My first trip backpacking in Europe was also a wonderful moment of my life! Which is why I'm going again in a couple of weeks!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach theatre and improv. In theatre school, we learn to breathe, to relax, to get to know our body, our voice. I could show you a couple of tricks on how to know your body better. In fact, if I host anyone this summer, I'll probably bring my surfers to one those famous improv nights here in Montreal in which I take part every week! I also play the flute and the guitar, which could be fun for jamming nights! I really enjoy playing soccer, I'm a goalkeeper and I've been a coach for seven years!!
