ABOUT ME
Hello! My name Is Melvil and i'm from the South of France living in Nashville Tennessee
I traveled in few different countries, and had amazing couchsurfing experience... My grandmother is gypsy so we can say that i took a lot of her side, im always on the road and always traveling somewhere, i even cant stand to be more than an hour on the same place!
Im in Nashville for music, and I also renovate houses and do a lot of other things to make money!
I'm willing to meet the people from every countries, to find a good and funny experience, id be happy to show Nashville to some of my fellow Europeans here in the usa!
Im in East nashville, an incredible growing neighborhood with a lot of bars and nice restaurants as well as live music everywhere, you will love it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing is the TRUE way to travel, nothing else could be more authentic.
By now I always been hosted but since I have my own house with my wife and we have some space, I want to host people!

Interests

Red wine, coffee (real coffee, not like that american crap y`all have!) music, 19th century, driving, family, flipping houses, history and geography, macabre and curiosities, writing, traveling, going to bars with my friends, buying and selling things, cooking cool french cuisine, DIY, motorcycle, talk about life philosophy for hours, guitars, musical instruments, live music, and of course meeting people from everywhere around the world.
I'm a real wine drinker and enthusiast, so if you stay at my place, we will surely have a red wine every nights!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all music from Classical, Blues, Jazz, gypsy jazz, 50's rockabilly, old country, 60's hippie music, classic Rock of the 70's, coldwave , punk and weird stuffs of the early 80's, hip hop of the 90's, and some of the awesome bands we have today such as the Black Keys, the black angels, the dead weather, and Jack White and aaaaaaaaa lot of different stuffs!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I renovated a down to the studs falling apart 1873 victorian house in Pennsylvania !

And also, i ve been on stage with Iggy Pop (well just a minute ahah)
