ABOUT ME

Well, hard to describe i a few word..People describe me as a nice, caring and easygoing person. I'm calm and enjoy life in its simple aspects, nature, animals, reading, having nice talk in bars with friends. I love traveling though i haven't had as many opportunities as i would have liked to those last few years. I live with my boyfriend and our cat Hippie, in a small appartment in the centre of Nantes. I love this town. It's nice to live here, there are many things to see and many things to do and you still can enjoy calm and nature around. I've just finished studies in accountancy and hope to find a job soon. This new professional way is different from what i studied first : languages, but sometimes we have to change for a better living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to welcome people in Nantes, show them not only the touristical aspect of it but also how life is here.A friend of mine told me about Couhsurfing and the idea of traveling this way pleased me a lot. There is nothing better than meet "locals" to enjoy what life is in other countries. I lived two years in the United Kingdom and it is my best memory. For me travel is not only visiting places, it's also meeting other cultures and sharing an idea(l) of Life with other people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had a couchsurfing experience in Winchester with Chris. He received us in his living room and we prepared him a small diner and had a nice talk together.

Interests

I'm most interested in history, myths, with a preference for celtic Legends and King Arthur whom i met at Stonehenge 2years ago (it's not a joke , he even gave me his card).Myths are for me what connects humans from every parts of the world.
I like meeting new people and visiting new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

books books books are my passion. every book is a way to learn, to dream, to understand, to travel other places and other times.
Some books i loved : pillars of the earth by Ken Follet, Anne Rice,Osamu Tezuka, loads of history books. and "bande dessinées" telling the story of Arthur, and legends of Brittany.
I enjoy every kind of music, Loreena Mac Kennit, dead can dance, old 6O's70's songs, reggae, world and rock music...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

got lost in a huge city of China without knowing a word of chinese
got lost on a desertic mountain road in Ireland with the night coming
Met King Arthur Pendragon at Stonehenge
and probably met an irish ghost haunting an hotel in Ballycotton

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French of course, exchange chocolate cake recipe
I would love learning other languages and learn south american beads weaving and use of medicine plants
