About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Soul searchin' and searching for awesome people to share life with.
ABOUT ME
It's actually an "us". Michael and Abigale Embry met, fell in love, and here we are.
Don't see Kentucky and read "racist idiot".
Vegetarian, transitioning to Vegan, but we'll still feed you whatever your persuasion.
Catholic, but we love to discuss all religions and Interfaith cooperation. Our life is sort of quiet because we don't know alot of people in Leitchfield, but we're totally up for (almost) any adventure.
We're pretty laid-back, so we can't understand how our son, Jude, is so wild. We are very friendly and hospitable, and welcome all surfers like family.
Love the outdoors, and the indoors, and other doors if they make them.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not too interested in eschatology (end-times theology), a priest recently told me that even though Christ will return again someday, he should return every day through us. We strive to continue the work that Christ began; helping the poor, sick, and lonely, loving every person like family, and giving of ourselves to better others.
Perhaps one the greatest philosophers ever said it best, "Let's get together and feel alright." -Bob Marley.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly we're looking to host travelers and anyone who wants to visit the metropolis of Leitchfield. We're willing to travel most places in Kentucky if you looking to hitch a ride too. We'll be moving to Lexington KY soon so check us out in our crew rolls into town.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are extremely new to CS. We picked up the most awesome guy at exit 181, he stayed the night and changed our lives by telling us about Couch Surfing. We signed up the next day. Thanks Derek!

Teach, Learn, Share
One of our heroes, Eboo Patel from the Interfaith Youth Core, always encourages people to share their story and listen well to others'. If only we could be brave enough to let others share in our joy, sorrows, shame, laughter, maybe we wouldn't all be so lonely. Everyone has a story, start by listening and sharing, then invite someone to be a part of your life story.
