Hey there!

My name is Emmi. I'm 31-years-old occupational therapist originally from Lappeenranta, Finland. I've spent most of my young adult life living and working overseas (Australia, NZ, Canada). I've also travelled a little bit in the US.

I consider myself very easy going, all-around happy and social person. I love travelling and meeting new people.

I like to spend my free time in the nature. I enjoy all kinds of sports like yoga, slacklining, trail riding, badminton, climbing, archery and kayaking. And ofc bicycling! I do like cozy evenings at home aswell, just watching movies and talking about anything and everything in this world.

Music; Anything groovy & funky, synth pop, disco, electronic music, deep house, psy-trance

Movies; AI Artificial Intelligence, Stand By Me, Labyrinth, The Little Prince... There's so many. I like sci-fi movies and movies that have some kind of a 'deeper message' in them that makes you think about the world around you. I like documentaries too. I also like Hayo Miyazaki's animation movies. And Akira.

Books; I like to read comic books. My all time favorite is the Japanese manga Akira. I used to read A LOT in my teen years. I loved fantasy books and really enjoyed reading Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy. Also loved Walter Moers "Die 13½ Leben des Käpt’n Blaubär" (Captain Bluebear's 13,5 lives). Latest book I read was Sputnik Sweetheart from Haruki Murakami.

Bicycletoured the South Island of NZ. In March 2018 I bikepacked from Queenstown to Wellington. I absolutely loved bicycling the West Coast of the South Island and met some awesome people during my travels.
