Yet, here are some things I've learned through the years:

Truth is always beautiful. No matter how harsh. Truth is freedom.

My reality is not your reality, as we do not live in the reality as it is, but in the reality as we understand it. We are worlds inside the World.

Sometimes we feel the way we think, other times we think the way we feel. Everything we are is made of connections we might not always notice or grasp. Keeping in touch with ourselves is hard work.

Things are what we call them. Oftentimes we end up hurting ourselves in our own definitions.

You don't have to be good, only real. Which is to say as authentic as possible, as true as possible. That's when you are truly at your best.

Inside most of us lies a hurt child. Lots of times we don't interact with people but with their wounds, fears and defenses.

There are no good and bad feelings. They all exist because we need them. They're all precious parts of us. Messengers that carry important messages, with love, from us to us.

Every storm will eventually pass. All you need to do is to be patient and trust the sky. Nothing that exists is ever still. To be is to change.

If you embrace it, the fear grows smaller. Small enough to fit in your arms.

If you find the gift of sorrow and catch the beauty of sadness, you become a rainbow at the end of it. After all, enlightenment can only happen in the dark.

If you surrender to what it is, heaviness becomes lightness. If you open your arms and welcome life, life opens its arms and makes you feel home.

The only right path is the one you choose yourself.

It's okay to have a change of mind or heart, from time to time. To change is to be alive.

There are many ways of living that resemble death. Life cannot reach you if you are hiding behind the barricades.

We regret more not the things we did poorly, but the things we didn't do at all.

Many things deserve way more chances than we're giving them. Sometimes we discover it too late, but most often we never do.

There is no greater violence than the one we inflict upon ourselves.

Violence doesn't create change, only damage. Only a few things can grow in darkness.

Some things will not happen the way you want in spite of your best effort, and that is only a fail if you call is so. What if you call it an honorable attempt, instead?

Everything has a cause but doesn't necessarily happen for a reason.

If you're looking for blue birds, you'll miss many other birds, and there are many amazing birds worth seeing.
Details matter. After all, everything is made of details.

Whatever we are looking at, all we see is the tip of the iceberg.

With every thing you gain, you lose something, and with every loss, you gain something.

We are all a little bit broken, with no instructions on how to be handled with care. Handling each other gently is never a wasted effort.

At the end, all we are left with are the stories we lived. The brief moments of magic. We leave this world molded into shape by everything that has ever touched our soul.

We know nothing, Jon Snow. No need to take yourself or me too seriously.
