ABOUT ME
I was born in Finland and grew up there, near Helsinki but the past six years I've been either travelling or living abroad. I was in Brighton, England for some years, first studying theatre studies there and then also earning money for travelling. As always. The past year I was in New Zealand just to see what it is like on the other side of the World, and beautiful it is. Kia ora!
Anyway, something happened to me in the beginning of this year 2015 and something in my mind and my heart just clicked, changed all of a sudden. Even before I was following my heart but there were also times when I just worked and got too wrapped in to work and daily things that forgot about my dreams for a while. But now because of this change I feel there is no time to waste for silliness like being unhappy. I have decided to fulfill my dream I have had since I left that dream last time, and return to Latin America. Then after that I can concentrate on new dreams and new parts of this wonderful World.
A little bit about me... I am vegetarian BUT my family in Finland is as carnivores as can be so I am used to having all kinds of diets around. SO, no panic, I'd be more than happy to cook my own meals so you wouldn't have to stress about "rabbit food" IF you find it stressful. :)
What else what else... I love arts in general. Can't draw or paint but appreciate those who can. I love drama and theatre and films. Drama in life is sometimes too much for me because I like to live peacefully and get along with as many people as possible.
My family consists of two brothers and a mom and me of course. But at the moment my closest family is my friends from my childhood and friends who I have met and hopefully will meet on my travels. One of the reasons for my travelling is to find some awesome people to share the experience with and to keep them in my life. I'm really easy to get along with and try to think positively about everything. Well, sometimes you have days when nothing goes how you planned and you get a food poisoning and your friends don't show up to your birthday party and then you step on a dog poop. On those days I think it's okay to be bit grumpy. ;)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that you should not do anything that doesn't make you happy. And also that "there's only us, there's only this. Forget regret or life is yours to miss." I'm not the biggest fan of musicals But those words from Rent are very dear to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try my best to pay back everything I got when I was travelling. I met so many helpful and wonderful people who made my experience better i could have imagined it to be. And when i have enough money again i will be spreading the finnish culture all over the world again and will hopefully get some new friends by doing couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was travelling in Latin America, couchsurfing made my travelling so easy and so much fun that I can't now think of a better and nicer way of exploring the World.
Interests
Music keeps the world go round. It doesn't need words to be understood. For me at least it is one of the most important things to have in my life.
I love animals and would like to get to know more different kinds of creatures and learn about them.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music I will most definitely like it no matter what. But films... I like to have a bit of a challenge. But of course there are exceptions... As a person Walt Disney was a twat BUT I still love The Lion King.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing thing I have seen is the summer in FInland where the sun doesn't set and you just don't want to go to sleep. Finland is a place to go back to in the summer!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am here to learn about different cultures and different people. I think everyone has something to share and I'm willing to hear those things!
I'm really interested in languages and hopefully during my travels I will learn to speak new languages. So if you happen to know Korean or some other language I'd love to learn it! And if you want to learn a language that no one else apart from us Finns can speak, I will be happy to teach you some useful phrases. (Also something else than just swear words) :)
