About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To intergrate myself in a global community that is working together towards a sustainable future
ABOUT ME
Out of the womb I was a born traveller. My parents met getting of a plane in Samoa and spent the first few months together in perpetual motion. Once having me they settled down in Wine Country, a middle point between my fathers home in Southern California and my mothers home in BC, Canada. After me came my red-headed brother, Simon.
Summers were spent road-trippin to BC, Thanksgivings in LA, and a few weeks each winter by the beach. I was told I would be able to taste the open road on my own.
Once I moved out of my parents house to university I knew I would want to study abroad. I did a semester in Copenhagen and another in Cordoba, Spain with a few months of travelling in between. I studied the Scandanavia Social Welfare System and Spanish language before heading back to California to finish my degree. After graduation and a few months work I was off to Latin America where I continued to speak Spanish and immerse myself in latin culture.
Still young and adventerous I have spent the last 2.5 years living admist the Japanese Alps. The opportunity to teach English has allowed me to expand my mind in an eastward fashion while explore the hot springs, people and language of the Land of the Rising Sun.
I plan to spend the next year or so in Asia before heading back to the Western Hemisphere....
PHILOSOPHY
Live is a journey and as long as you open yourself up to the world and others in it the unexpected lies just around the corner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have always been connected through friends of friends. One memorable experience was while travelling through switzerland being given a spare key to a nice flat by a nice swiss girl in Lusanne. My friend and I stayed 3 days, cooking big wonderful meals, taking advantage of the great views of Lake Geneva, and taking a break from camping.
