ABOUT ME:
Greetings! I work in clinical cardiac care, babysit on the side and volunteer here and there for environmental issues. My hobbies now natural health care, exercising, camping, meditation, minimal gardening (hoping to expand that next year), DIY projects around the house, and staying in touch with friends and family near and far.

My Favorite Adventures:
-Backpacking trips in the Colorado Rockies, Yellowstone and Teton National Parks, Redwood National Forest, and the Routeburn Track, New Zealand
- A crazy stint in Amsterdam and Paris
- A cozy stay in Taos, New Mexico
- Exploring all of Ireland and finding my past lives in her (twice)
- Taking my mom on a European vacation to England, Switzerland and Italy

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS several years ago but never utilized it until just recently. I've spread the CS knowledge to my friends and family. We've been the surfers as well as hosted the surfers. It's a great program thus far!

Steig Larsen is intriguing.
I prefer historical fiction/nonfiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Partied on a mini-Ship on the Seine (we were the only Americans-quite the experience!)
-Sat in someone's "accident" on the L Train in Chicago (How'd I miss that?! So gross, and hilarious in hindsight!)
-Met some strangers on a backpacking trip-we discovered a cave and there was an impromptu didgeridoo concert. Surreal!
-Met some friends-to-last-a-lifetime while hitch hiking in New Zealand during our honeymoon.
