Hi surfers!! My name is Mengju and I'm an entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

I'm coming to Copenhagen August 12-21 for a program to help solve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to visit some cities in Europe that I've never been to. I'm flying into London on August 1 and leaving Berlin on August 12 to head to Copenhagen, and everything in between is up in the air!

I love love love meeting new people and having random spontaneous adventures, so if you'd like to hang out, please hit me up! And if you're willing to host me for a night or two in London or Berlin, I would be forever grateful!

My second very early-stage company creates products for nursing mothers (so if you know anything about that, or are interested in knowing more or talking about it, let's!)

My third project, which I'm coming to Copenhagen in August to work on, is a set of technologies that aims to reduce cooling costs in data centers by 40% (data centers account for about 1.5-2% of the world's energy usage, so this is huge!)

I really like to sing - particularly pop, rock, R&B, musical theater, and Disney - but really anything that catches my ear. If you play anything or sing, let's jam!

I've lived in 13 different cities growing up, so if you've ever been to/lived in/want to know more about China (Harbin), Idaho, Washington, Toronto, Alabama, North Carolina, Texas, San Diego, San Jose, or San Francisco - we have something in common! :)

I've heard about Couchsurfing for a while now, but have never actually tried it for some reason. I'm heading to Copenhagen on August 12 for a 10-day program to help find solutions to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and would like to take the opportunity to visit other parts of Europe before the start of the program - namely London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and possibly Paris. I figure this is as a good a time as any to try out Couchsurfing! :)

Let's see...well, I can speak Chinese pretty fluently, though I'm completely illiterate (thanks to immigrating to the US before I started school), but I'm happy to be a conversation partner!

I like to sing (not sure I can teach it, but I can definitely share in the joy if anyone wants to sing/play with me...or be a guinea pig audience).

I'm good at standardized tests (SATs, GMAT, etc.) and teaching simple subjects up through high school algebra 2/geometry/trigonometry/basic calculus/basic physics (mechanics)/basic chemistry/English (huge grammar and spelling nerd), so if you or your kids need some tutoring, I'm your gal!

Also, having spent many years as a wantrepreneur taking in endless amounts of content, I am happy to share any knowledge I've gained along the way, as well as insights from my time as an actual entrepreneur. :)

I'd love to learn more about entrepreneurship, music (theory, composition, production, instruments - particularly piano and guitar), French (studied it in school for a good 9 years, but you'd never know it!), Spanish (a brand new interest), salsa dancing, and tango (brand new).
