About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be the best little piece of universe I can be
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty laid back lady who enjoys good conversations about interesting ideas. I'm very open and accepting of other people and love to hear about how people are making their journey count.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that each individual being in this universe has energy that is transferred throughout the whole. I am but a very very very very small part, but my part is just as insignificant and ultimately important as any other component. So, I must try to do the best that I can to make a better, more energetic and positive universe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classic rock, folk, psychedelic rock, anti-folk, old country music, bluegrass, whatever. I like good music. Genres are good starting places, but there's always at least one artist that is worth listening to in any genre. I'll give most things at least one good listen.
Some favorites of the moment: The White Stripes, Fleet Foxes, Xavier Rudd, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Woody Guthrie, M. Ward, Black Sabbath, The Tallest Man, Polka Dot Dot Dot, Modest Mouse, Michelle Blades, Stephen Steinbrink, Muddy Waters, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard, Iron&Wine, The Fruit Bats, Dry River Yacht Club, Devendra Banhart, Bob Marley, The Beatles, and I'm always looking for others.
I also love to read! I usually have about three or four books going at once, topics ranging from travel writing, biology, cheap fiction to true literature. I just like to read, dude. Let's share books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was backpacking in Greece and decided to ditch the group I was travelling with in Matala (Crete). I asked a street peddler where the best place to swim was. His advice was to follow a dirt road that would lead me to an old goat path that led up a mountain and down through a rock wash and then out to the sand. I followed his directions and at the top of the moutain, I looked down and saw the most beautiful sight. A sparsely populated red sand beach with unlikely little blue umbrellas popping up from the sand. There was a broken down little shack for the lifegaurd and sometime in the 60's some people had carved beautiful pictures into the rocks around the beach.
After my laborous hike through the rocky terrain, I was so hot and sweaty and excited about the water that I threw off all of my clothes and dived in right away. It was my very first experience in body surfing and swimming naked and just feeling one and at peace with everything in the universe. I'm so glad I followed the man's advice and went on my own personal journey to the most beautiful place in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to listen to people play/sing music and to play/sing music with them (except I'm very shy...) I know a little bit about a lot of things and would be glad to share whatever I know with whoever cares to listen. I also love to learn new things, so... Come over! We'll talk! It'll be a great time!
