I think people appreciate me for my positive attitude on life. I would call myself the 'just trying to be happy' kinda guy. No-nonsense, down to earth and always trying to make the best out of everything. I don't take life too seriously, because life is here to enjoy. I'm a warm hearted person and wouldn't even harm a fly. I'm very social, easy-going, flexible and eager to learn. I'm not a materialistic guy, for me experiences have much more value than money. While traveling, the people you meet make the best experiences! I'm always trying to spread out my love, because I'm convinced love and compassion is everything we need for a better world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world while helping each other out with offering a place to sleep. I think it's always inspiring and interesting to meet people from other countries and cultures, because there is always something you can learn from each other. I love exploring and discovering new places I haven't been before. If I'm just somewhere for a short amount of time, just because I want to discover a new place, I always try to experience the place from a 'local perspective'.

I love to listen and discover different kinds of music and I love to share music with other people! I also really appreciate good food and drinks and I love to cook by myself. Also interested in good conversations about life, traveling, spirituality, meditation, religions, art and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my fulltime office job after 8 years because I realized this job was not going to make me happy in the end. Since then I'm living fully in the moment and enjoy as much as possible. I try to travel to as many places as possible, with a positive mindset and open mind, convinced that everything what the universe has to offer is exactly right for me at that very moment.
