One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was hitchhiking from Hometown-Berlin to Cologne. It was really hard, germans are not really Hitchhike-friends.

My first step was to a city 'Magdeburg'
(just a quarter of my waypoints cologne) we're a part of my family live, they live in a village near by the city, but it was late so the next train drove at 12 a.m.,
it was too late, cause if i took that train
- I've got 2 hours to sleep and go back to the city.
So the Family called friends, who live in the city and they came to the trainstation and picked me up.
So I got new friends and a bed to sleep.

So I went to the slip-road and waited there with my sign sayin 'Cologne'
I waited around three hours.
But than, there were two lads, they picked me up and it was great they wanted to go to a "Metallica"-concert and the city was near to Cologne, great!
We drove the half way, and than...
on the motorway: Driver(D)/friend of driver(F)/Me -
D: "Hey, I can't accerelate!"
F: "Huh?! What do you mean with 'you can't'?"
D: "So, the accelerator-pedal don't work!"
F:"haha, that's bad"
ME thinking:"WTF, How can helaugh about it?!"
D: "Okay, we stop on the breakdown lane..."
Me:"Okay, this will be a long day!"
F: "Jeah, nice, lets make the Music louder!"
D:" huhu, call AA- Automobile Association!"
*call, tow truck came, drive to breakdownservicestation, get a rentalcar, go on with the tour*
It was so awesome, the hole time Metallica
and in the Rentalcar just radio- shakers, Rihanna and co. So that was not really the music they wanted to hear.
Another hour later, we were stucked in a traffic jam and asked a guy in the car next to us
"Do you have an Metallica-CD for us, please?"
He just search in his car and give us a CD.
Wow, it was a great experience, and a lot of fun.
