About Me

Hi,
I'm a Vietnamese little girl who is deeply in love with music, films and Pokémon ≧▽≦
I'm a huge fan of Hua Chen Yu 华晨宇.
I can speak English and Japanese (although i have a lot of problems with this language) and now i'm also learning Chinese.
My nickname is mèo 3 chân (3-foot cat). You also can call me Jace / Yu / Gyoku.
I have a habit of writing everything in none-caps style, especially the word 'i' in the middle of the sentence.

I used to be a film critic and news editor when i was in Vietnam. Currently, i'm an international student, living in a small town in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. My place is quite far from the tourist destinations so I guess there is no surfer here, but if you wanna try to explore the countryside of Japan with rice fields around and nice weather, you can send me a message for more details :) *I still leave "My Home" is my real home in Hanoi which i still can manage to host if you want to try the authentic life with local people (my mom and my little brother is living there)*

I surely can host people in Hanoi, Vietnam whenever i come back home (mostly in August for summer break, and in February-March for spring break every year, i hope so).

You must present something of equal value to gain something"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before i created this account here, I was an introverted girl and mostly stayed at home (working as a freelance writer). Somehow, i was lazy to communicate with the outside world. Being so different from the social is bad in this modern life and at that time i wanted to change myself a little bit. Therefore, with Tidus Fair Supertramp's advice, I decided to become a host here, give myself a chance to expand my circle of relationships.

I have had a lot of wonderful experiences with CSers all around the world and was fell in love with Couchsurfing spirit. That led me to the idea of hosting and being hosted anytime, anywhere if it's possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Runaway from my apartment in Hanoi and discovered one the most marvelous jungles (with caves and waterfalls, some ethnic minorities) in Vietnam with 2 friends, the very first surfers I've ever hosted.

Became a Wikia Hero (utaite fandom) on May 14, 2016 ╮(╯▽╰)╭

Spent one day to take 32 Pokémon Stamps over 55 stamps of Pokémon Stamp Rally 2018, visit 44 Stations around Kanto Area in Japan in just one day, from 6A.M. to 11P.M. Spent another day to take the rest stamps in Tokyo Metropolitan Area, from 8A.M. to 8P.M. Finished my Pokémon Stamp Rally Journey on August 9, 2018 and gained a Pokémon vinyl bag ≧▽≦

Teach, Learn, Share

Vietnamese culture of local living people (in the province, not in a big city like Hanoi or HCM) and stories of our very first ancestors (lol).

I guess i should learn... cooking, neh? ≧▽≦

Although my house is in Hanoi, I was born in Phu Tho, known as the first capital of Vietnamese people's kingdom in a long long time ago. This place is not a well-known destination for travelers but if u do like to visit there, i can give u some interesting advice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything i have known: Couchsurfing experiences, Vietnamese history and culture, Japanese culture through the eye of the Vietnamese student...

If you have any interest in politics and want to learn about what people call "communist", i can give you some specific ideas that stay on the opposite side of what the media said.
