About Me

I have a syndrome which bothers many people in this world- it's called a restless soul! :D
That's why I can't stay at one place for a long time. Meeting new people and new cultures brings me joy and happiness. I love to learn these small differences in cultures, behaviors, listen to stories - it gives a perfect opportunity to perceive the world from a different perspective. I love to explore the things we have in common as well. Nothing can describe the feeling when you play music on the street and complete strangers come and start to dance, join your singing. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm just starting my CS adventure, however I've already stayed in few random people's places during my trips. It has always been a great experience!

Interests

During my studies I've spent my free time on hitchhiking trips. Each trip was fun and gave me more life experience than any of the organized vacations I have ever been. That's why every time I hear about all-inclusive and 100% planned holidays it makes me sick. My favorite way of spending holidays is to meet locals and learn about their culture. Is there any better alternative to immerse to local life than hitchhiking?

Each trip was somehow related to music which is my passion. There's nothing that connects people more than music (well.. except beer :D). Playing music on the street, jam sessions, singing by the bonfire or last but not least !KARAOKE! can bring many magical moments in life! In my hometown I sing in a blues-rock-funk-ricky-ticky-buya-kasha band called Gotta Sugar. Actually it's really hard to identify it with one or two music genres... Each of us (5 members at the moment) listens to different kind of music and our taste enriches constantly.

I like club parties with house, R&B and pop music. Sometimes when you dance it's nice to use your body more than just bouncing to the rhythm on the crowded dance floor where you feel like a fish in a can. :) That's why I like Latin music parties - all these spins and crazy shuffling with hands! :D

When I was an exchange student in Germany my friend inspired me to do outdoor climbing. We've been climbing together on sandstones in Schriesheim and in France but I don't remember the name of the place (and even if I knew it I couldn't pronounce it correctly :D ). Now when the season starts, me and my friends spend whole days climbing in a local national park.

Music, Movies, and Books

Although I mostly sing blues, the songs I listen to depend on so many different things that I won't even mention it, there's no enough room for it. :D

Movies that influenced my life: Into the wild, Unmade Beds, Lion King.

My favourite books: The whole work of Mario Puzo, George R.R. Martin, the Witcher saga written by Andrzej Sapkowski, "Master and Margarita" written by Mikhail Bulgakov.
