About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make your passion your work.

PHILOSOPHY

It's easy to attach yourself to someone else's purpose in life. It takes courage to discover your own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf when I travel and host when I'm in Denver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted two guests and met up with one other for a drink in Denver. First surfing experience was in Paris. Looking forward to hosting primarily international travelers. Was fortunate to stay with friends of a friend who I'd never met when I traveled to New Zealand in 2007. That generous spirit of welcoming travelers in is one I value and want to share with others. CS seems like an organized way to do just that.

Interests

Puddles, the ocean, open minds, converging streams of consciousness, music that makes my heart swell, music that makes me want to cut a rug, learning about inspirational people, organization, french fries, steak, whiskey, coffee, things that are green, films, books, pictures, words...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

College course in Alaska. Some highlights? Float plane to check out the base of Denali, camping out in Talkeetna, eating bear, rope swinging right into the freezing cold river, a moment of solitude when I first learned to breathe in the world and breathe out a part of myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn how others manage to focus their work so it's a matter of quality and not watered down quantity.
