ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm a typical Canadian (whatever that means - you decide, we're too busy drinking).

I'm prone to trying to do too much and instead doing nothing. But my nothing often involves a lot of random acts of random, dancing in the streets, and FUN.

I don't often dwell on practicalities of life, I have my head not-so-firmly in the clouds.

I'm down for learning, though, if you got some mad skills you want to share and I like to have people around who keep me in check. For instance, I have a tendency toward mumbling and talking to myself - don't be afraid to call me on it or I'll never learn. And you'll miss out on my astoundingly witty commentary.

I smile and laugh a lot. I find the world hilarious. I find people fascinating.

Oh, and I love wine. And coffee. And food. Mmmmm food. But mostly wine.

PHILOSOPHY

I've had ups and downs. Mostly ups! It's okay, I like rollercoasters. That's not true, I'm terrified of them. But in theory - fun!

I am not one of those people with an encyclopedic knowledge of film noir, or who can name the release dates and track listings from every Beatles album, and I know more than most about literature but I've never even read War & Peace.

There's too many things to love in the world to waste time picking favourites.

I want to learn EVERYTHING. I suffer from a bit of indecisiveness disease so I tend to want to do it all and I tend to jump from one thing to the next. But, seriously, anything you can teach me I'd probably be thrilled to learn.

I've got a ragtag set of skills that I'm just as likely to foist upon you unexpectedly as I am to bury them under a rock. I make a mean dinner we like to call Stalin's Kimono.
