About Me
Kia Ora!! (Hello!)
My partner and I are currently finishing our travels in Europe after having spent 11 months travelling in a van!
We’re both from New Zealand, are 25 years old, love a good yarn and always enjoy meeting locals!
We started our travels in January 2019 in Sri Lanka then onwards to the UK where we brought a van that we lived in full time for 11 months, travelling Europe.
We have met such amazing people and have visited some incredible places during our travels so far and we plan on continuing our travels until November 2020!
Feel free to check out our instagram if you want to see a bit of our travels so far :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have heard from fellow travellers and friends that Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals; to learn more about the area you are visiting; and, of cultures and religions. We are all about that life and would love to meet new people as well as exchange stories.
Once our travels are over, we would definitely consider hosting other couch surfers as we think it’s a wicked thing to do that could really add value to our lives.
Interests
We love the outdoors & exploring new places. We also love the water, whether it be surfing, swimming, boogie boarding, fishing or just chilling near the water, we love it! Learning about different cultures, religions & traditions fascinates is too.
Jaf is obsessed with Joe Rogan & likes to share facts a lot too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Our taste in music is really broad!
While we are on the road we love to listen to local NZ bands to remind us of home (Six60; Katchafire; Shapeshifter).
My favourite book is ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting our jobs in NZ to live the van life around Europe/travel the world!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach you things about New Zealand, which we are proud to call our home, as well as the Māori culture.
We would love to learn of other peoples life experiences, especially unconventional living. Pushing societies views on how we should live is something we like to learn about. We hope to share positivity and kindness to those we meet!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good yarns (if you like to chat too), info about New Zealand and the Māori culture (our home country), wine, beer or food (your preference) and hopefully just great company!
