Hi! My name is Meredith :)

I am 25 and a recent graduate of the University of North Florida. I majored in International Studies because I love to learn about other cultures and be informed of the world. However, I have no idea what career path I want to go down. I love to meet new people and experience new things, so couchsurfing seemed like the best opportunity to do just that!

My boyfriend (Kyle) and I recently backpacked Europe for two months. During that time we stayed with a few couchsurfers, and really enjoyed the experience! Now we are back in Jacksonville in a new (tiny) apartment with our three-legged cat, Beemo.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I volunteered at an orphanage in Ghana, Africa last summer for two weeks. It was absolutely life-changing and amazing. The children at the orphanage were the brightest, happiest children I have ever met, and changed my life perspective. The people I met along the way (both Ghanaians, and the people I volunteered with) were all amazing and taught me so much. I highly recommend visiting Ghana! Beautiful people, beautiful country.
