Hi, I’m Meredith! I live a life that is filled with curiosity, sweetness, ambition, and a loving connection with myself, others, and the earth. I am deeply passionate about food and where it comes from. I am friends with the farmers at the market, take great joy in grocery shopping, and feel most creative in the kitchen. I also have an active and deeply fulfilling meditation practice. Every day, I commit myself to being the best version of me that I can be. I love to be silly and laugh, hike, read, and travel solo. I have an adventurous spirit and am working hard to create a life that is impactful, inspiring, and full of freedom!

I've lived in community settings a bunch and because of this, I have developed communication/listening skills, emotional intelligence, and a deep respect for shared space. I promise to be a wonderful guest in your home and so appreciate the opportunity to not have to be in a hotel. I can't wait to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just graduated from nutrition studies and am about to turn 30 - so am traveling around New Zealand for 3 months to celebrate! I just learned about couch surfing and think it is brilliant! I like knowing what the locals know - and truly experiencing a new place rather than just observing. Plus I love people in general and can't wait to share stories over a good meal!

Interests

Preparing meals with love for others and having them tell me how good it is, growth and the joys and struggles that come with it, exploration, travel, hiking and being outside, learning new things, laughing, singalongs. Oh I do a bit of yoga and play capoeira too though am not too good yet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've driven across the U.S. twice! I traveled for 3 months in India. I quit my job and went back to school to follow my dreams. I lived with 25 people in a healing arts collective in the center of San Francisco CA and it changed my life! I've been to Burning Man 5 times.
