I recently graduated from college with a BA in History. Due to a parent's occupation I have moved seven times and have attended six different schools. Those experiences fostered my ability to adapt to any environment. Consequently, I love to meet people and learn about their environments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and explore various cultures. I proactively look for new experiences. I want to learn as much as possible from those I come into contact with.

Interests

I have an invested interest in learning. I have taken courses using Codecademy and coursera in order to gain lifelong knowledge. This past year I taught myself basic Danish using Duolingo, and completed the course. I will admit that my verbal Danish is a work-in-progress, but I am quite motivated.

I love taking pictures. I am not a professional photographer. But I do enjoy snapping a few shots with my cellphone's camera.

Music, Movies, and Books

Netflix is my best friend. Although I have some difficultly with siting through an entire movie, I do enjoy watching them occasionally. I am a huge fan of documentaries.

I enjoy all genres of music. Honestly. Hip Hop, Rap, Country, Pop, Dubstep, Rock etc.

Books. I have an obsession with bookstores. The Strand Book Store in New York, NY is my favorite bookstore. It is 18 miles of books. Travel writing is by far my favorite genre. Although I do enjoy traveling, I sometimes enjoy armchair traveling.
