I’m an actor, writer, and political organizer who lives between New York City and Los Angeles (I’ve tried to change my location, but Couchsurfing makes it difficult!) I love to cook, cycle, read, write, have long conversations while taking a walk, and garden.

I graduated from the University of Michigan where I studied theatre performance, and when I graduated, I received a fellowship from my university and spent the next year working with organizations in Bangalore and Mumbai, India. I have facilitated theatre, music, writing, and dance workshops in prisons and other spaces across the world, and most recently taught a drama and writing course inside a New York State correctional facility.

Many of my close friends and family still can't believe that Couchsurfing is a real/safe way to travel/meet people, so I love to prove them wrong one happy, human adventure at a time!
