About Me
CURRENT MISSION
-mission accomplished for now, I have finally graduated from school-
ABOUT ME
In general I hate self-introduction because there's no way that I could sum up my life in three to four sentences. I don't really like boxes of categories - why do I have to put my race as Chinese on my ID, freethinker as my religion on my official documents, label myself using terms and concepts that people create out of nowhere just because life would be much simpler that way? I am trained to question these little things in life, and I find joy in doing that. Sometimes I find myself too cynical but I love it when these thoughts keep my brain busy and functioning ;)
I am a Korean-Chinese Singaporean, I lived in China for most part of my childhood before I moved to Singapore for good and I love both places, despite their authoritarian nature. I hate it when people ask me "Where are you from" because I haven't quite figure that out myself. You would get different replies depending on my mood . I have bits of Korean blood running in me and I love my Korean heritage but I find learning Korean in Singapore too much of a chore. My Korean relatives judge me for that but come on, I have enough things on my plate for now.
I am both an extrovert and an introvert - or what they say "extroverted introvert". I love hanging out with my friends finding good food exploring new places as much as lying on bed in my tiny little room listening to music reading not-so-interesting articles. I am not a big fan of partying/drinking/clubbing but I don't mind them and actually enjoy these activities if I am with friends.
Crazy thoughts run in my mind all the time but I simply don't have enough time/ energy to do everything or even remember them. I like talking to people on almost all topics because it's a nice way to share my craziness and know more craziness in this hectic world. Note that I know absolutely nothing about arts, sports and non-asian history - so you would have to bear with me if I ask stupid questions on these topics.
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meet new people and share new ideas :) I surfed while I was living in the Netherlands and travelling around Europe - love all my hosts, they are probably the best Earthlings ever.
Alright, I have just graduated and so I am finally moving back home from my rules-stricken college. My room is being revamped at the moment, once it's done I will open my doors to you.

I have a bad memory when it comes to music, movies and books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote my graduation thesis on the transgender community in Singapore and was called up by the school because of the high level of sensitivity involved. But I loved it.
