About Me
ABOUT ME
I am quirky, an animal-lover, a nerd, adventurous, positive, honest, and I love science. I am a biology doctoral student studying primate behavior- specifically stress physiology and group cohesion of lemurs. My husband, Brandon, also studies lemurs and we love spending as much time as possible in remote places- preferably places with vast wildlife species and lively culture.
PHILOSOPHY
Get Lost
"And me? I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know it's not some place you can look for. Because it's not where you go. It's how you feel for a moment in your life when you're a part of something. And if you find that moment... It lasts forever"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in Costa Rica and holding a sloth for the first time. Climbing to the top of the Grinnell glacier in Montana. Skydiving over the Great Barrier Reef. Seeing the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat. Bushwalking in Tasmania. Scuba Diving at night. Stargazing in Tulamben, Bali. Living in the remote rainforest of Madagascar for 6 months. Getting to calling the Soutpansberg Mountains, South Africa, my home. Watching the northern lights in Iceland. Spending weeks in the Bolivian wilderness...but mostly just enjoying the world around me, no matter where I am.
