ABOUT ME

My photo was taken at the top of a fire tower in the Nebraska National Forest. This was a major stop during my summer travels across the US mid-west and SW. The other four photos are places I traveled this summer: the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Capital Reef National Park in Utah, Scott's Bluff National Park in Nebraska, and Mt. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am a traveler. I camp. I house-sit. I occasionally stay with friends. This winter I am house-sitting near Winnipeg for the winter - a totally new adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing.

Interests

I am a writer. I love being out of doors. I love the Earth, and I am particularly concerned about how current human activities are affecting the whole planet. It isn't a good state of affairs, and I am concerned.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer I began a journey to camp across the United States and see as many of the National Parks (and other national sites) as I could visit. I only got a little done in one summer. I'm still on this journey.
