ABOUT ME

I'm a budding budget traveler who enjoys nothing more than experiencing a new place through food and friends! I love to sing, cook, and write, and you can usually find me with my face buried in a book. I also love taking people around and showing them all the places I love to go to!

Additionally, I'm pretty sarcastic.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the best way to experience a place (and the world) is to immerse yourself fully. Go off the beaten path. Try a completely new food. Talk to people. Try to speak the language! There's no point to life if you're not experiencing everything you possibly can - the world's just too exciting!

I love to read, listen to/make music, and experience different foods! I'm also a bit of an old lady - I don't tend to stay up super late, so I love doing things in the mornings!

I recently moved to Brazil on a whim to teach English - I'm here because I truly love the people and the country, not because of a significant other (which is quite common). I'm pretty proud of the fact that I've made it this far and have not only survived, but thrived here for over a year. I carved a place for myself and I think that's pretty amazing.
